Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of techbayqatar.com and any purchase you make through it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you accept them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

techbayqatar.com is owned and operated by Tech Bay Trading and Services, trading as TechBay, with branches at West Bay Petrol Station, Onaiza Street, Doha, and at Tawar Mall, Doha.

In these terms, “TechBay”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Tech Bay Trading and Services. “You” and “your” mean the person using the site or placing an order.

2. Where we sell

TechBay sells and delivers within the State of Qatar. If you are ordering from outside Qatar, it is your responsibility to confirm that you are able to receive the order within Qatar.

3. Your account

You may browse without an account, but you will need one to place some orders. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Please give accurate account and delivery information — we may suspend or close an account where the information given is false or incomplete.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order and it is accepted for fulfilment. We may decline or cancel an order before that point — for example where an item is unavailable, where there is an error in the price or description, or where we cannot deliver to the address given. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it in full.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Qatari Riyals and are inclusive. The price shown on the product page is the price you pay for the product itself; delivery is charged separately and is shown before you confirm the order.

We accept card payment and Cash on Delivery. Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before fulfilling the order and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Delivery

Delivery is charged at a flat rate of QAR 10 per order across Qatar. Orders are normally confirmed, packed and dispatched within 24 hours on business days. Business days exclude Fridays and public holidays.

Most deliveries in Doha are made the same day or the next day. Delivery is made by our own vehicles where possible; for locations outside our delivery range we may use a third-party courier and will tell you when we do.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Some locations may not be serviceable, and we will tell you if that applies to your address.

7. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Our returns policy forms part of these terms and is published at techbayqatar.com/policies/refund-policy. In summary: a refund may be requested within 3 days of delivery and an exchange within 7 days of delivery, in each case with the product in brand-new condition and the box unopened. Returns for products that arrive damaged, defective, incomplete or different from their description are handled under that policy.

Nothing in these terms or in our returns policy removes any right you have under the consumer protection law of the State of Qatar.

8. Warranty

Products sold by TechBay carry the manufacturer’s warranty that applies to that product. Warranty length and cover are set by the manufacturer and vary by brand and model. We will assist you in making a warranty claim, but the warranty itself is given by the manufacturer, not by TechBay.

9. Product information

We take care to describe products accurately, and specifications and images are supplied by manufacturers and distributors. Colours may appear differently on different screens, and manufacturers sometimes change specifications or packaging without notice. If a product differs materially from its description on our site, it is returnable under our returns policy.

10. Using the site

You may use this site for lawful personal purposes. You may not:

• use automated means to scrape, copy or index the site or its content;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or test or circumvent its security;
• interfere with the operation of the site, or upload anything containing malicious code;
• copy, republish or resell our content, catalogue, images or design;
• impersonate another person, or post unlawful, defamatory or offensive content;
• use the site in a way that breaches any applicable law.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site where these terms are breached.

11. Intellectual property

The design, layout, text, graphics and other content of this site are owned by or licensed to TechBay and are protected by intellectual property law. Brand names, logos and trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell.

12. Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend it for maintenance.

To the extent permitted by law, TechBay is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Communications

By placing an order you agree to receive messages relating to that order by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Marketing messages are optional and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time by publishing the revised version on this page. The version published at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

15. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from a purchase made through this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have exclusive jurisdiction.
