iPhone 18 Pro in Qatar: Launch Date, What Is Coming and What Is Not
Updated 12 September 2026 with Apple's confirmed specifications and TechBay's Qatar pricing.
Apple held its event on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. The model many people were searching for, the standard iPhone 18, was not part of it. Apple announced a Pro-focused iPhone line-up and its first foldable iPhone, alongside new Apple Watch and AirPods models.
What Apple launched on 9 September
- iPhone 18 Pro
- iPhone 18 Pro Max
- iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone
- Apple Watch Series 12
- Apple Watch Ultra 4
- AirPods 5
Note the name: the foldable shipped as iPhone Duo. Much of the pre-event coverage, including earlier versions of this page, called it "iPhone Ultra". If you see a Qatar listing for an "iPhone Ultra", it is referring to this device under a name Apple did not use.
For Qatar shoppers the main point is unchanged: the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are the September iPhone models. The standard iPhone 18 is not part of the same launch.
The standard iPhone 18 is not coming until 2027
The standard iPhone 18, the iPhone 18e and the iPhone Air 2 are reported as delayed until spring 2027. That timing is based on reporting, not a confirmed Apple release date.
If you are searching for "iPhone 18" in Qatar right now, check which model a retailer actually means. A listing for iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max is not a listing for the standard iPhone 18.

Buying a genuine iPhone in Qatar
New launches bring grey-market stock into the Qatar market quickly. A grey-market handset may carry a warranty that is not valid in Qatar, or be a unit intended for another market, which affects both the buying experience and the support available afterwards.
Check the exact product name, the market the unit is intended for, and the seller's details before placing an order. TechBay sells genuine, sealed Apple products from its West Bay and Tawar Mall branches in Doha, as well as online with delivery across Qatar.
